Cancer Data Registrar (Permanent Contract)

The National Cancer Registry currently has a vacancy for a permanent full-time Cancer Data Registrar. The person appointed will have responsibility for identifying, coding and recording all newly diagnosed cancer cases in their designated areas. Applicants must be registered general nurses (RGN) or hold an equivalent nursing qualification. At least 1 years post registration experience is essential and some experience in oncology or cancer coding is desirable. A full clean driving licence and own transport as well as proficiency in the use of personal computers for data entry, word processing and electronic communications is essential. This post will be based at Cork University Hospital

Salary: Department of Health staff nurse salary scale will apply.
